Q: HOW DO WE BOOK?
A: Please call our studio line to speak with our reservations manager at 603-570-2600. Your session will occur during the week, like a dentist appointment, but this is much more fun! You will be setting up two dates; your session date and the premier viewing session. This is the only time your portraits are shared so make sure all decision makers (and best friends) are present!
Q: WHAT IF I WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE SESSION WITH A FRIEND/SISTER/MOTHER?
A: You will love that. Your sitting fee covers a double makeover session! Make sure you let our reservations manager know when booking.
Q: WHO IS PHOTOGRAPHING ME?
A: Our Covergirl team includes professional hairstylist Francesca Silverstein and makeup artist Nick Edes. PORTRAIT MODERN works exclusively with award-winning photographer, Mallory Parkington. Mallory was featured on the news magazine Boston Chronicle for her work with females and high school seniors CLICK HERE.
Q: HOW LONG ARE THE TWO APPOINTMENTS?
A: Your session will run about 2 hours for a single or 3 hours for a double makeover. Your premier viewing reveal will last about 1 hour and is typically after your session or a week after your appointment.
Q: MY WARDROBE ISN’T THE BEST, DO YOU HAVE ANY CLOTHES?
A: Yes, we have a variety of dresses for all women. We also recommend websites like renttherunway.com to get that look you’ve always wanted.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
A: We require a 10-day cancellation for a fully refundable session fee. Our artists are on contract for you.
Q: WHAT SORTS OF PRODUCTS DO YOU OFFER?
A: We offer collections of archival albums, folios, and wall portraits.
Q: HOW MUCH SHOULD WE PLAN ON SPENDING?
A: Your session fee of $400 includes professional hair & makeup application for two people and your glamour portrait session.
Q: HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP THE IMAGES?
A: After your premiere viewing session we only keep the images you love, we wish we could keep the rest.
